mtr

Combines ping and traceroute in a live view.

mtr continuously measures reachability and loss along a route.

Syntax
mtr [options] host

Arguments explained

  • Options adjust output or behavior.
  • Arguments name the files, services, hosts, or values the command should work with.

Run interactive mtr
mtr example.com

Shows live route quality.

Report mode
